As I pray for God to reveal more & more of Himself to me and to teach me to pray....really, really pray, not just popcorn prayers...He is showing me that my priorities are of utmost importance. For God to be first & foremost in my life there is nothing, absolutely nothing more important than spending time alone with Him, sitting at His feet, for Jesus tells us in Luke 10: 42 that only one thing is needed and that Mary chose what was better and that it wouldn't be taken away from her. I have found that the times I put Him first, before housework, checking email, eating, etc.
He redeems the time and that time spent with Him turns out to be the most beneficial part of my day and that all those other things are accomplished in a shorter time than normal or that I even am able to do a lot more than planned. God has a way of doing that! After all, He says, "But seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you"!
God keeps His promises...we can count on that!! Now....I just need to step out on faith & to remember to apply to my life what I believe and have learned from experience!
